Hi,

I own an o.g Stinger 2018, my skid plate just fell. Anyone have install guide as I plan to just replace the clips and screws. It's still in decent condition.

Welcome. This topic has been moved out of the community lounge and into the main Stinger section...

what piece are you calling a 'skid plate'? the undercarriage panel in front, or covering the engine, or are you even talking about those panels?

Yes, that particle board looking thing at the front, it bent down and was dragging.

You're all over the place with the terminology. :) Particle board (see below) looks nothing like that piece you are talking about, but we know what you mean. Somebody probably has a YT vid on how to do remove that piece. Look up "Kia Stinger oil change" and there is probably parts of them that show how to do it. Realistically though, it's just a bunch of plastic clips you can pop off with a flat blade screw driver, plus a couple of 10mm bolts, IIRC. Really nothing to it.

When you put it back on, make sure that the panel is on top of the connecting projections of the bumper cover. Ima almost certain that whoever put that back on last time pushed the clips through the holes in the panel, in other words it was on the bottom of those connection points, that's practically the only way the panel can bend down and pop the clips. Also, it's likely that you were missing one or more of the clips, allowing air to force the panel down and pop the remaining clips.
