• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Singapore Stinger Roll Call!

I am thinking of doing film too

Yep, awesome job, took all of 2.5hours! Will take some pics tomorrow when the sun is up!

care to share the cost?

Was about 400 including GST. Warranty for 10years and they give a cleaning solution as well as a coating to maintain it!

Hi fellows! Will be getting mine in maybe 2 weeks time. Would like to see if any mod possibilities to share in coming time. Being unique market in sg, there's many things we can do here

Almost there! The 2 weeks will fly by and then you’ll lose more sleep once you get it home! For now the mod options are trickling in slowly and all have to be shipped in by yourself as there are no vendors/distributors here to my knowledge.

Most would start with new wheels and maybe lowering, Eibach and H&R have springs for those you could order in or check with the local distributor.

eBay has a few cosmetic mods like a rear spoiler/third brake light which you stick onto the top of the rear hatch glass, as well as other stick on asthetic pieces.

There are also a few aero bits like front lips, sideskirts, rear diffuser add-ons and stick on trunk spoilers. There’s actually a pre group-buy thread going on to see which is most popular before they do a group buy. Not sure if that would have international shipping as an option.

Then there’s piggyback chip tunes like the Lap3 Uncle Chip from Korea for the 2.0 and 3.3. RaceChip and JB are releasing theirs but only for 3.3 for now.

For me i’m just swapping rear badges, added mud guards, trunk liner, PPS and glass coatings, Xpel film to dark chrome and gloss black trims. Maybe Eibach springs and BBK later on but for now there’s a lot to enjoy!

Ya man, in fact most probably i could have make delivery now, called the se to delay it till end of month, while still busy with other stuffs and heavy dekit from current ride..

Those that u mentioned i had been following.. probably this round will do it slow and justify the need.. but then again, poison is poison.. lol

What ride are you changing from and what colour Stinger did you get? My SE got me Xpel on all the dark chrome and headlamps. Went back to add Xpel on all the black gloss trim which is located at each side of the front windshield, bottom of the A pillar beside the wing mirrors, B pillar, strip on the rear door window and 2 strips on each side of the sunroof.

The Stinger is actually really good ride-wise and also the 2.0L pulls strong and smooth, holds high speeds well too. For me there wont be much performance mods i would consider as the stock setup is adequate for my needs and enjoyment, and also to maintain the long warranty! Aesthetics-wise the car looks good as is, thanks to its low-slung look so am happy i dont have to spend on aesthetic mods. Maybe i've modded so much in the past or it could be an age thing, but its so refreshing not to have to do anything on this car! Would imagine wheels, lowering springs, piggyback chip and a drop-in filter will already be a big big change.

Tks robs, currently on vezel, benoit should know who i am lol..

On the xpel, that's what the se been offered to me, likewise been thinking where else should be protected, since I havent got the ride, a detail from you is a good start point.

Super bingo on your points! The stinger doesnt need any further aesthetic mod, so do the performance is suffice in sg roads. For me if a deep mod to be will be the wide bodykit mod, but then again, that's gonna make alots of friends from LTA.. lol

Ya, I ordered a red ..

Hi just joined this forum. I am interested in the 3.3 Stinger. So far I have not seen many on our roads yet.
Hope to learn something from you all here before I take the plunge.
