Side mirror reset

Any body got any thoughts on reseting the auto tilt on the side mirrors? Passenger side works fine the drivers side not so much. Sarted acting up after mirror cap install yesterday. It will work but the mirror does not go back to the corect "set" position it started at. It goes way past it. If i set it to where i can see and try again it wont tilt in reverse.

Just select your driver position, reset your mirror and "save". It's like slapping some sense into it. If that doesn't consistently work then I suspect some reset of "the system" of some kind is necessary.

Unfortunately have tried that not quite sure why it is sticking but I appreciate it

A few mirrors have failed, as shared on the forum. Warranty work.

Wonder how thats gonna work for me since it was changed out? My service writer is pretty good so ill talk to him. The only other thing i couldthink of was to undo and redo. You never know. Up side im not a big fan of the feature, down side is i jacked it up.

Under warranty is under warranty: it doesn't matter if the replacement mirror is also bad: it's just terrible luck for you while this is going on.
