Side door protector?

Just want to get an opinion on these side door protectors. A little present from the wife. Not sure how I feel about them.

It’s one of those 50/50 situations. Personally I think they detract from the look of the car but the first time you come back to your car in the supermarket car park and find some careless bugger has smashed their door into yours you’ll wish you had them. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t.

I'll probably leave it on until I get enough door dings then I'll get rid of it dont want to break the wifes heart lol. It's my daily driver so I'm pretty sure theres going to be that 1 time!

The worst part of the whole situation is that you just know you’ll get that door ding the day after you take it off and the wife will never let you forget it.

Never had door dings, I always parked far at public places. Its worth the walk my friend.

Me to 50/50, they serve a purpose and aren't offensive. Like someone else i don't park mine next to others. Nose to tail parking only.

To be honest, it took me a while to know something was on the doors.. because it was blending well.

So I'm with "Team Keep It". Plus you'll make your wife happy which I assume it'll make you happy as that she is.

Anyways, let us know where you got them, I'd like to get some once my car arrives.

I haven’t done it yet and it was the first mod on my previous Honda. Not too many door dings on the one, but someone keyed it.

A Clear Bra on all the doors is about $1200, so I’m assuming that’s cheaper. I’m good with it and may do the same.
