Wondering if anyone has tried this already? Hoping to get a pretty close colour match with some 3M vinyl and wrap them myself, but not completely ... (excuse my rudimentary Illustrator skills, but I think it shows the overall look/intent). I appreciate the safety element of having something reflective on the side, but just not quite so big ...

Not a bad at all. I dont know about having that big rectangle on the side of my car tho. Haha! Throw some pics up when you got it all set. May need to "borrow " the idea. I like it

Yeah, hopefully my vinyl application skills will be better than my graphic design skills ;)

My $0.02 cents... I know it's controversial, but I LIKE the long side reflector... not so much on the Orange, but on the Grey, Red and White more so

They aren't hard to remove you could wrap, mask, and paint over the wrap for a perfect paint match... but if you are going to do it, make sure you follow the body "cut" lines to make it look intentional ;)
Or buy a second set, and just paint right over part of them

I know, I don't absolutely hate and despise it, especially on the ghost/ceramic ... from some angles, it's sharp; from others, it's a bit out of place. My own personal opinion, I don't like the look of the complete delete, makes the back end look a little too neat and tidy or something. So, I figure I'll try a DIY vinyl wrap, and see how it looks. It's easy enough to take off again. Or maybe I make it a seasonal thing :geek:

Oh, and yes, of course ... end it where the rear quarterpanel-mabob ends the the trunk-bumper-majiggy starts.

The thing that you are forgetting is unfortunately towards the frot of the reflector the body has a circle body line. So hopefully just a random cirlce doesn't seem to out of place. I do like the idea but tend to over think stuff. You dont notice the lines when your eye is drawn to the color contrast, But it may stick out if its color matched

I got my roof/drip rails/A pillars wrapped last week, and had them do the partial reflector delete as well. We looked at about 8 shades of 'grey' (ha!) and none were an exact match, so we went with the closest. Depending on the light, it's not bad but certainly not perfect ... but at least it will give me a chance to live with it for a bit, and if I like it I might go the colour-match spray bomb + clear coat route.

I was kinda hoping for the big square over the reflector....hahaha!

Got these. I like them. It shows as black instead of red, but overall I like the look better than the original red. . .

If you go the painting route, buy some matte white vinyl to paint and peel off the ones you have installed. ... trace them on the back of the white for perfect templates
