I'm not a fan of wrapping the roof black, either. But it is a bold look and does look natural with the sunroof and hatch window being connected into a continuous whole. The trouble with the side strips is the protruding rib that lines up with the bottom of the side vent. No placement of a strip over that rib looks natural.

Agree. Make it just a little more understated and it’ll look even better IMO, at least on black.
