Show me your ambient lighting!

You really cannot see the ambient lighting during daylight.

I know, I want to see how those panels look like, do they look different to my panel which has no ambient lighting or not... You don't need to turn it ON or something, just make some photos during daylight. And panel (or what's there) under passenger's door handle.

What color do uyu keep your ambient lighting set to? Since I have HiChroma Red, I have it on red.

I keep mine on blue since it's my favorite color..the yellow is too whimpy

I had some issues with my ambient lighting module as well. I brought it in a few times and they just "reconnected" it. At the same time, my battery would be completely dead when it sat overnight. Couldn't even unlock the doors remotely. Kia had no idea what was wrong and since I kept losing my ambient lighting, they just replaced the module and I've never had any problems with the battery or lighting since.

Well, i went to dealership this weekend. Based on what the technician told me, they tried everything, but didn't found the reason.
They will call me as soon they found a solution for this issue. (I don't know how, since my car still with me!).

Is there any law in U.S. to protect the customer against this type of issue? i mean, if they don't fix it, what i could do?

Anyone know what kind of bulbs the foot well lights take? I wanna change mine to red, no I dont want them to stay on while driving, so im content with just changing the light bulb and dont want to wire in a whole kit lol. The stock white ones are ugly.

It's not a bulb, it's an LED module on a circuit board. Not something you can buy generic replacements for, just OEM in white.

You could probably figure out a way to attach some kind of colored filter.

Hadn't thought of that. Maybe removing the lense and applying a peice of red window film?
