Hey guys, recently got my JB4 and was running on Map 2 for awhile, ingition on 2-6 was always at 0 with a 0.8 here and there. Today I decided to go ahead and get some E85 at a local Sonoco (4 Gal E85, Full Tank 93) and try out map 3. Now I'm seeing the same thing, but in some places I'm seeing reductions of 2.6 up to 5.6 They're only for like 1-4 lines in a row on the logs, and usually surrounded by tons of zeros. I have no idea how to read these logs, if there's a guide anywhere on how to read them properly I'd appreciate being pointed to them.

Also curious about Map 4 and what I need to run it. It says E30+ but I'm not sure if that means the current fuel-blend I'm using is good?
- Exhaust, secondary delete
- JB4
- 1-step colder Denzo 0.022 Gap

Running a G80 so there's no intakes available yet, sadly.

Wanted to edit the original thread, but could not. I'm seeing timing drops at random up to nearly 6 and while it's surrounded by 0's just wanted to make sure everything was safe, also I'm only seeing 4.4-5.1 on the target on MAP3, shouldn't that be higher? I've read that MAP2 target is around 5-6.

If you have been puting 93 octane in for a while and switch to E85, the ECU will adapt over time. You could reset the ECU by pulling the negative terminal for 5 minutes. Map 3 with 4 gallons of E85 is completely safe (most the time). Driving conditions will play a role in it as well.

Post a log after trying it.

Timing corrections can have a mind of their own sometimes. If you ever want to reset the learning process just unplug the negative battery cable for 5 minutes.

Just adding......get a test kit for the E85. Not all e85 is E85.
