@ggace said, I originally installed his and it sounded really good. So much so I bought one like 2 weeks later.
I installed mine and it had a lot more drone. I remembered a lot of threads on here saying because the exhaust didn't dump as far back as the original (hence why adding
aftermarket tips seems to help get rid of most drone.
So I used the play in the Borla components and shifted the muffler section of the exhausts back as far as the rear hangers would let me. Literally put my foot on the muffler, pushed towards the back of the car, then tightened the clamp bolts. The difference in drone was astonishing. So I recommend that to anyone having serious drone as a first step.
I did sound deadening in the trunk a few days later just because I have a toddler in the back and wanted it quiet for him when I wasn't on it and loud for me when I do get on it. I'd say it's perfect for a DD when not going 65 or so mph for long periods of time.
