ShopKiaStinger.com/Vivid Visual Strut Brace Fitment Issues

Search for “Anthony Tortoriello” in the group and the first result should be about exhaust tips. Go through the comments and you’ll see pretty much everything I was talking about.
I have also had interesting experiences dealing with him but not necessarily bad, But I understand where people are coming from.

The guy I have dealt with so far is named John, he seems to be a decent guy. That "Anthony" seems like a tool.

The deeper you dive the more you see, haha. All in all, I wish you the best of luck with getting your fitment issues resolved! Keep us posted on whether they're willing to resolve the issues or not!

BRO. Those guys are literally trying to sell those tips for like 450 on their website when you can literally acquire something that appears to be identical from sellers on AliExpress for like 140 plus shipping. Geez Louise, you were totally right.

Does anyone know a business address or phone number for those guys? There’s not much contact information on the website. That always makes me a little suspicious.

It is very difficult to get much information beyond an email or social media. They have a decent little following online, nothing insane, but they are certainly doing some business.

I ordered some black carbon fiber rear chrome trim replacements back on February 9th and still haven't received anything. I've been emailing John for a status update around every 2 weeks and he seems nice but it's been forever. He's told me he just relays the information the team tells him, so IDK how things are behind the scenes. I just want my product so I can move on add never use that site again.

That's ridiculous. I definitely wouldn't give them any more business after that.

Here's a screenshot of the trim replacements

I've stated this before but all these "strut braces" are essentially just decorative and dont stiffen the suspension. Those braces are for the radiator support stffness not strut tower stiffness. If you wanted to stiffen the strut tower you'd brace against the firewall where the core strength of the car is, not the radiator support and crumple zones are. Thankfully Kia already ties the strut towers to to firewall with how the chassis is designed.

Agreed. Nobody should put one of these on with any expectation that it will make any noticeable difference.

The dude selling them claimed that he’s gotten reviews that “prove” that they make a difference. Never heard anyone speak of these reviews or seen any of the reviews.

What a clown. On Facebook?

To get actual results the brace should go from shock tower to shock tower. Preferably an adjustable one. This is actually proven on many other cars. Sure it may get in the way of the engine cover but that's a small price to pay for salvation

The best setups are the triangle ones that tie back to the firewall as well. Gives you dimensional stiffness in 2 axis instead of just 1. Either way, the radiator support isn't going to add much to stiffness.

I setup the phrase “Shop Kia Stinger” so it would link to the forum store (KDM Warehouse). I have since removed that link to avoid this confusion that’s going on here.

Bumping this thread. Has anyone had issues ordering from shopkiastinger. com? The thread title automatically changes to kdmwarehouse.com, why is this? Are they affiliated?

I have ordered from kdmwarehouse.com once and while they were late delivering an order, they did apologize and were humble, which I appreciated.

I ordered something almost 3 weeks ago from shop kiastinger. com, and they took payment - a king's ransom because no one else made the CF sticker, but only replied to me once about placing an order through their manufacturer (meaning they don't even make the parts), and waiting for them to send tracking. I did a second follow-up, and radio silence like the Kia EV6.

This is bad business practice and not very good reputation management to not provide customers status updates, especially when their prices are outrageously expensive. I will keep everyone apprised if I ever receive my order.

Their entire practice is suspect, at best. They sell some oval exhaust tips and all sorts of carbon fiber parts that are seemingly all from China, and they charge a lot for them. They do not fabricate anything themselves, as far as I know. They are basically just buying Chinese products and selling them for the price of quality American products. I'm pretty sure most of the stuff they sell can be found on Amazon and/or AliExpress.

edit by admin: NOT AFFILIATED

I wonder if these guys are affiliated with KDMWarehouse because kdmwarehouse seems legit whereas I feel uneasy given their lack of responses, yet wanted to take payment quickly.

If you type in "shop kia stinger.com" (no spaces) and then post your thread reply, does the posted message change to kdmwarehouse.com? If so, why is this?

I'm not sure if they are affiliated. I wouldn't think so.

Yes, it changes it and I have no idea why.
