Interested, but help me out please, folks.

Brand new 2023 GT here hoping to get the most out of the warranty long-run and running stealth for a while with nothing more than JB4 and quality, appropriately-gapped plugs. Map 2, basically. Hate leaving Hp and Torque on the table, but not going big this early. Wanting to be nice and compliant (fingers-crossed behind the back).

Gathering that fuel wires might arouse dealership suspicion. Easy swap-out before I bring it in?

Any issue with EWG wires under the same concept?

JB4 good to pass on to a new vehicle without a countdown for expiration with any other transfer?

Really appreciate your help if able to reply quickly - having a heck of a time searching everywhere for all answers.

1. Fuel wires. Invest in the stubby O2 sensor tap harnesses. They are VERY easy to swap in/out.

2. EWG wires. Bit more of a PITA to get at. Intake will need to come out and squeezing the tab can be fiddly.

3. As long as the owner unlinked it from their account. Even if not, just email BMS and they will fix it.

Do not go into a dealer with a JB4, it will be very obvious.

The absolute hardest part of the entire jb4 installation is bending your body in ways you didn't know you could while trying to get the obd2 wire through the rubber grommet under the driver side. After that everything else is plug and play. I have the fuel wire adapters, I recommend them for ease of installation and you also don't tap into the fuel wire on your car which is nice. I cant speak on ewg wires because I don't have them but the rest is fine.

Hi BuzzATL,

As others have said, it’s advisable to remove the JB4 before you go to the dealer. Installing and removing the JB4 is pretty easy. The plug n play fuel wire adapters that I’m including make it even easier. The EWG wires are a bit of a pain because of where the turbo sensors are located. You have to remove the air intakes and air boxes to get enough clearance to get to them. It’s all just removing some 10 mm bolts and the two 14 mm bolts that hold the ‘strut bars.’

The amount of $ and effort versus the performance you get out of it is incredible and completely worth it. The only reason I am parting with it is bc I am going with a Lap 3 ECU soon.

Let me know if you would like it and we can swap info.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Thanks so much everyone!

JB4 looks nice down a little farther down the road in miles if I want to get more involved. That's probably several years from now.

Was considering Race Chip and the install/removal leaving no trace in the shop seems quite a bit easier. It'll give me the gains I'm looking for only running 93 with new plugs. Plus, on sale this weekend ($100 off!).

I'll pass for now, but good luck on the sale! And enjoy the Lap3.
