Once we get the stock off and glass removed we can do a weight comparison
SBM is shooting to attempt the glass removal tomorrow and do a straight weight comparison

Very interested to see weight vs stock!

Also, how long could one expect the clear coat on these products to last? I once bought a carbon fiber hood from Seibon, and even with waxing it twice in one year, it was so oxidized it might as well have been garbage.

That's not entirely true. 100 lbs is like adding 10 hp roughly. But combine it with light wheels, lighter exhaust, light hood, light breaks and then you'd be down around 200 pounds, 60 of which is rotational, unsprung weight. It's not practical, but it would make a difference :rofl:
