Safest Way To Increase Horsepower?

Tork motorsports ECU tune will be the fastest with no headaches. No additional tuning or tweeking needed no additional hardware to fail.

A better way of putting is is no tuning or tweaking is possible. You're close by Tork so it's easy for you to get updates if needed, but the basic problem with flash tuning for the platform is customers can't load updates at home. Any time something needs to be changed they have to pull their ECU and snail mail it back to the tuner.

I've seen plenty of logs from flashed Stingers with glaring tuning issues they can't fix, or maps that are either too aggressive or too conservative for their fuel/conditions which also can't be adjusted. A common trend I've seen is boost control issues where boost targets well under certain conditions, but if barometric pressure or weather changes too much one way or the other or exhaust modifications are added then problems crop up. And without basic logging tools many flashed cars have no idea what is going on with their vehicle. Maybe that's OK for a really mild flash but if you're trying to push 20psi with a "Stage2" flash it's suicide. And who wants to run aggressive mapping all the time anyway? It's nice to be able to run a mild tune most of the time and just kick it up for Friday nights or track days when you're on good gas.

Then there are the realities that the flashed tuned vehicles are not substantially faster than JB4 only cars, that flash maps are expensive and can't be removed and resold like a JB4 can, that there is a permanent trace left across several modules on the ECU should the dealer scan them, etc. Flashing makes sense for some situations but it's a pretty narrow subset of the overall tuned Stinger base IMHO.

There are several bad ECU tunes out there. But get a good tune for your car and conditions and no additional tuning is needed, no firmware updates, no consultants to read your logs. In the winter you may be able to eek out another .05 with more boost from a piggy back but the ECU tune is already going to be .3 to .4 faster to start with. Thats alot of $ and mods to make that .3 -.4 back up and once you are full bolt ons you are still going to be .3-.4 slower.

Now to the question

And if there is somewhere else I can post this, please let me know. I want to go from 365HP to 500HP+, if possible of course[{deleted string} THE SAFEST WAY POSSIBLE. In other words, it won't "destroy" the car in any way because it has all the supporting elements to achieve that much horsepower?

... If that makes sense?

If not possible, not a problem :) I love this car so much as it is!

REMEMEBER -- All the quick HP gains are add-ons to the top part of the engine. If you don't pay attention to the bottom (journals; rods; guides) then you will shorten your engine life and it will not be covered by the warranty.

I've had 35 cars in my life (some for as few as 6 weeks ... fix and sell), but this much I can say about my Stinger- right out of the box, I can drive it like I stole it, and not worry about a "warranty" problem. You want 500+ HP in a Sedan ... you should bought a Dodge Charger Hellcat ... IT'S A RACE CAR WITH A WARRANTY --

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
