SAFE?

1-3-5 cyl bank misfire

I was cruising with very low throttle input for 30min's before it happened.

It happened as i started to accelerate from the lights with maybe more than 50% powaahh lol

We had about the same now with a client Stinger. We first tried other fuel with 30% E85 but the same. We did check plugs, Nippon, and they where bad really with to much gap, 2 centrum electrodes were off. We changed to HKS 45 and all good again.

It also have happened that the knocksystem puts down timing so much that you go to zero timing that also will cause missfire like symtoms. What I have seen it has been "sound" from lose shields that make knocksystem to think engine is knocking.

So... check your plugs and see of some around engine is loose. It has never, in my knowledge been a broken knock sensor as the dont break.

Spot on brother the knock sensor, i had an exh bracket that was loose... i swear that is what it was .

I had it pop up and didn't have my phone on me to take a pic while i cleared the code... I have no idea why it popped up but after simply turning the car off and on again it went away.
Very strange...
I’ve tried that process already but I haven’t done a battery disconnect!

We’ve done plugs. Went from HKS back to Denso’s for my Tuner had host reasons for switching back to Denso’s, but still flipping codes. We’ve tried everything, NEW COIL PACKS were suggested but personally I think it’s the JB4 miscommunicating or defective and at this point my Tuner is thinking the same thing so we’ve been in contact with BERGER.
