Any guys on here have an issues with getting an alignment after install? Anyone not do it? Read on Eibach's site that lowering a car less than 1" doesn't make it a necessity. All input and or advice would be very much appreciated!

No problem with alignment when i had mine. And Eibach Springs is made for AWD that's why they lowered less on the RWD Stinger.

They have a set for the rwd now. Just curious, thanks for the input though!

No problem! Well if that's true our vendors here should have posted it already.

Yes problems, I got stung for an alignment I never recieved. I ended up with a big rear camber. Eventually I got it properly aligned at a Kia service centre. An alignment would be mandatory after a drop me thinks. I've got the Eibachs on a RWD.

I haven't lowered my car, but I have read on here and other forums that you should let the springs settle for a few days before you get an alignment. Definitely wouldn't skip out on it. Accelerated tire wear is guaranteed. Even lowering a small amount, it does change the geometry. Also read a thread on here where people were saying that the alignment can no longer be "perfect" but close when you have springs on our cars. That thread might be helpful to you

Good to know. Well they're getting put on as we speak. Can't imagine lowering a car 3/4" is going to have that large of an impact but I'm no expert by all means

Yes, you need an alignment with any change in ride height. Just FYI.

Eibach's site only shows one part number for both AWD and RWD. E10-46-035-01-22
Weird....I never noticed that they were the same part number but there still is AWD and RWD version. The AWD springs lower the car 1.4 and 1.2 while the RWD springs are .8 front and back. I remember I was hesitant before the RWD kit came out because AWD made the car sit lower in the back and looked sort of weird.

the springs are compatible, all AWD springs will work on RWD. It's just the spring rates are different to accommodate the different weight distribution of both models.

It doesn't lower them different heights, it's that the same springs on each configuration resulting in a different amount of drop.

Why'd alot of RWD cars look like they dropped significantly lower in the rear using this kit? Just got my car back and it looks very level.

5mm to me isn't significant, I'm more than happy with mine. But I have had nit pickers pick mine apart.20200122_140755.webp 20190717_170656.webpI don't see the sag and these photos are on flat surfaces.

Man that's a great color! We don't have that one out here in the US

Eibach only makes ONE set of springs for the Stinger. They fit both the AWD and RWD cars. As others have stated, the reason why the AWD drops more significantly is because the additional weight of the AWD cars. Also the weight distribution on the AWD cars is different, with the AWD cars having weight more forward.
If you want a RWD specific spring set, you need to buy the H&R Spring set from Europe/Australia (Part 28701-2) which uses the same rear spring as the AWD cars, but changes out the front spring with a shorter one that is specific to the RWD cars to make the drop even.

Well that's not true since the 28701-2 are advertised as AWD/RWD springs.

28701-1 is AWD. 28701-2 is RWD.

Keep in mind both part numbers technically fit either a AWD/RWD car it's just the spring rates/height are different to accommodate the weight distribution of each car. It's different for both models (obviously)
