RWD burnout in an AWD GT2

"Magically", of course. :p I am the softest of brakers. And the Brembos slaughter anything I've ever had, making the kind of braking I do overkill. I've never applied such gentle pressure and stopped so fast. It allows me to go extra legal well into the off ramp and then touch the brakes without a qualm. I love it.

I've noticed...
The brembos are pretty aggressive. I've tried burnouts just about any way imaginable and it just hasn't happened yet.

I literally can't even do this in the actual RWD stinger.

Unless holding the electronic Handbrake actually does anything (I've been too nervous to try, not sure how these magic brakes work)

By default, the ECU uses a brake pedal sensor to limit boost if the brake pedal is depressed. If you can't build boost, you can't spin the wheels like this. Even launch control mode still limits boost.

Some people have discovered that you can get past this limitation - either disconnecting the brake pedal switch entirely, sliding a piece of metal up near it (as it's magnetically activated, and this interferes with the magnetic field) per cutting a wire near the ECU for the pedal sensor signal - for the latter, a switch can be installed to move between standard operation and bypass operation.

In this case, it appears a brake pedal switch has been used, along with pulling the AWD fuse, which reverts an AWD Stinger back to RWD.

Someone with a yellow AWD Stinger recently posted footage of an AWD burn out - as the AWD Stinger is still RWD biased, you can see in that footage that the rears spin first, then slip is detected by the AWD system and the front wheels start to receive more power until they too start to spin.

nope theres a switch you have to disconnect above the brake pedal to disable alot of the nannies
Any idea what this switch is called? Very interested in trying this lol

That looks like a lot of fun. Sadly the adult in me only see the $$$$ in tires getting burned up :)

that's dope as fuckkk!! is it possible on RWD?? all I've done is disable all traction control and start swinging the car which creates a dumb amount of smoke but a dead-on burn out I wish?

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
