Rumor: 2019 Limited Edition

Color selection is down to Micro Blue(Curious how this compares to the previously available Corsa Blue from the Optima previous gen SX), Deep Chroma Blue(if avail) or Ceramic Silver.
I've got Corsa Blue and I want to say the Micro Blue is like 2% lighter, but barely noticeable unless they're parked next to each other.

Just to let you in on another rumor... One of the reasons Deep Chroma Blue didn't make it to the U.S. is/was because the quality of the paint wasn't up to par with other colors... Now this does not come from a reliable source - but it's been said. So take it with a grain or seventeen of salt...
Well, that could explain why they shipped them out early and then threw them away. Happy to hear it may be coming. Thanks for the info!

Hopefully, this rumor turns out to be true. I was hoping that if enough people mentioned how ridiculous it was to demo the color (only 1 of 2 colors) that wouldn't actually be offered, that Kia would feel the need to address it somehow. There's several perfectly fine colors for the Stinger. It's just that Deep Chroma Blue is the most unique color in that the sheen changes slightly depending on the light.

The color difference on plastic vs steel was mentioned in the attached sub-titled Korean video. Starting at 9:48, he mentions the difference. This is on the Red though so apparently they either fixed it on the Red or didn't think it was noticeable enough.

Not a bad looking color, but it seems too "normal" for a car like the Stinger. The micro blue is bright and a little different looking, in my opinon...although I'm likely biased

I like this blue but it is not available here. :(
My personnal favorite is ceramic grey, I may wrap my car with a similar color some day.

I REALLY hope Kia just makes the Deep Chroma Blue an option.... Stop with the 'Limited Edition' BS as it is just a way for the already bad stealerships to try and rip people off more, and make people like myself who really wanted a Stinger, to turn away from the brand altogether.

Don't get me wrong, the Stinger is still an awesome car, and I love the way it drives, but it will be a long time before I buy one. If ANY automaker wants people to drop $50k on a car, then at least give me the common decency to spec it how I want it for a color and options. I don't need a checklist b/c I know option packages keep the price down, but help us out a little here.

I am glad the current Stinger owners love the car. At least I know it'll be around for a couple model years so I have a chance to get one later.

Here are some shots of the Korean spec that made the rounds before it was released in the dealerships. I thought it would've had more blue color like in the press photos, but it's still an awesome color.
