Maybe its a "placebo effect" but it sure seems to be doing something! Turned out to be a loose wire, (may have accidentally pulled on it) got the original one to to work for the time being.

I agree with the others, I'd send it back posthaste. Even if it is doing something, it's probably not good. Just my two cents.

Probably it sends a reset timing and fuel adaptions command over and over again or something similarly insane, if it's doing anything at all. Mail it over to me and I can log the CANbus command directly on it and tell you exactly what it's doing and why that won't actually add any power.

Loan him your Dragy so he can test the difference versus stock. When it doesn't make a real improvement over stock he'll probably buy a JB4 from you.

Calling someone a fool (for no good reason) seems to be a Trumpian tactic: name calling when defensive. I almost sense that you are reacting to this chip as some sort of "threat" to your product. Why do you feel this way? I have no idea.

I don't know how much you have researched into piggyback systems a.k.a. chips.

That chip that you have is most likely not doing anything performance wise. Some of the guys here can be a little harsh at times and direct but it's all in good faith/humor. They mean no harm. I think they are more surprised that would buy that chip and believe what they are telling you. Nobody has heard of this chip.

I am not trying to make fun of you. You should highly consider getting your money back!

There are other chips out that actually work. These are in order from best to worst.

1. JB4 - Best Piggyback out right now. Its only $479 and it will the net you the highest performance gains. It has many different modes to accommodate your style of driving and what fuel you decide to use. It has data logging so you know what is going on with the car. It is very easy to install. Resale value is high as well. This has amazing customer support/service.

2. Lap 3 pro tuner - Price $1200, this is the most expensive piggyback system. There is still no data proving that it can outperform the JB4. It has no data logging and no where near the customer service support. This is the best option if you are planning to run primary downpipes nd no cats on the car. The install can be a pain.

3. Race Chip GTS (Black) - Price is $479. This will net you the least performance gains. There is not data logging. Its does not have adjustable modes like its competitors. Resale value is low and customer service is not involved in the Stinger community.

@NYLAWBIZ Yup, this place has it's people who like to jump down someones throat whenever they can...and they definitely jump quick. It's okay though, once you're around long enough you know who those people are and you know they'll jump. Basically, the opinion is that you should go with something that is more known and stay away from those that are relative "fly by knighters".

Actually...it's a famous proverb typically used towards someone or a group to make him/her or them feel like a fool and to try to make the person saying it sound smart. Simply put...it's a a put down and not a very good one at that.
