That looks great! 20% is what I do with mine. Though 50% on the windshield keeps things looking a little darker...

I like the balance of privacy during the day and safety at night with 20%...

Do you have any local laws about tinting? Where I am (Maryland) you can't have less than 35% VLT tint on side and rear windows, and you can only tint the top 5 inches of a windshield. I never thought of that as restrictive since I want the cars behind me to be able to see through my glass to what's in front of me, for my own safety.

We do have laws and you're not supposed to have anything darker than, I believe, 30% on the front side windows. The back sides can have whatever you want. The front windshield can have a little more than 5 inches but not much. Nothing on the windshield other than that... The back window can be as dark as you like. I typically limo tint my rear window as I don't like high beams blinding me through my rear view mirror - but you do bring up a good point about the vehicle behind you being able to see that car in front of you. However, I am typically very careful to keep a good distance between my car and the car in front of me - and everybody drives a truck in Florida - so most people see over me anyway...

My Optima has the auto-dimming rear view mirror. Where people with high-beams on drives me nuts is coming from my side view mirrors. Oh and both when I'm in my Corvette right at every SUV's headlight level

Oh, that must be fab-you-loce... Yeah, and that's why I had dark tinted side windows as well. I never get bothered by lights of any kind. There are certainly some major plusses to driving a full-size SUV...
