Road dirt on rear panel with and without rear spoiler

Now why didn't somebody before this say anything about that Cali Duster? What a great idea! I'm getting one tomorrow; that will reduce the number of times I get out the buckets of water and terry cloths.

Why do you need a noisy, obnoxious leaf blower? It looks like the duster does the job. Is it to spare the duster? Reduce duster time?

Haha it’s a must!

The blower speeds up the process and takes the worst of the dust off.

If I get a leaf blower, I'll never live it down: ever since those infernal noise makers came on the scene I have damned them to the netherworlds. My wife would never let me have a moment's peace. :D Besides, in the somewhat cramped spaces of my carport, I'd end up smacking my car with it. "Back your car out first," you say. Now the easy way is starting to look a bit like a hassle: get out the blower, fire it up or plug it in. Leave the car idling while I put the blower away; or stop the car and start it up. I think I'll just go with the silent, low tech, tactile pleasure of a heavy, soft duster. We'll see. Tomorrow. My car will be dusty by then.

You’ll be fine without the blower and just the duster. In the country it’s a must.

I am now equipped. Used it already. Nice tool. Probably use it first thing each time I go driving.

Merlin , now you need a California water blade to complete the program:thumbup:
No! No more cleaning accessories. I don't even want to know what a "California water blade" is ...

What is it? :P

OK a sneak peak so you'll take the mod job.....................View attachment 24431

I disagree with the Cali Water Blade. Ask me how I put my first scratch into my brand new Sportage SX the day I picked it up! Granted a two bucket wash helps, but these blades are notorious for finding specs of scratchy bits and scratching paint. I retired it to only window duty and started to wonder if that was the reason I had so many scratches in the rear window! It might see its new duty in the trash bin. If it weren't for the scratch potential, it's a pretty spectacular tool...

I agree , the only blade to use is a jelly blade , even those can have issue with holding dirt , I always use a leaf blower ...............
