Last month I did my second track event in my Stinger and ever. It was an all day event with 5 45 min sessions on the road course that cut through the infield as well as driving partly on main Nascar Track. There were three novice groups. I drove in the group that had an instructor with me in the car. This was a great step for me after my first event was an hour behind pace car.

This was totally worth the $500. Got great advice from the instructor and was finally able to push the Stinger as hard as I wanted. It's amazing how quickly and effortlessly this car can put the power down coming out of a sharp turn. Not much body roll at all. Grips the corners as well as a compact or coupe. Got lucky that it was a slow day for this event as I basically had the track to myself. At the end they let us all go out behind the pace car on the real oval track and I got up to 140. Stinger disappointed me a bit on the straight away coming out of a turn, was hoping to get up to more than 125, but 120 is still good. Guess I was a little intimated by all of the Porsches, Vets, etc. But nevertheless I certainly wasn't the slowest out there.

This is certainly a type of event I would recommend if you have some experience on the track but want to learn more and push car as hard as you want.

Glad you had fun. Track days are the best. I love autocross, can't get into drag racing.

Track days are my favorite! 5 x 45 minute sessions is VERY GENEROUS...mostly you get 4 x 20 min or 5 x 20 min. Especially if you are in the Novice w/ Instructor Group.

How many times did you have to fill up the gas tank?

Awesome! I am looking to get my Stinger out on the track as well.

What helmet are you using? I’m worried because I’m already kind of close to the ceiling and not sure how my driving position may be compromised by adding a helmet.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
