Reverse tilt down side mirrors

Does the side mirrors on the GT2 tilt down when you shift to reverse?

I saw that thread, but I believe the guy was talking about the actual side mirrors folding in when he turns off the ignition. I was referring to the actual mirrors tilting down when you are in reverse so you can see your wheels and don't scrape them while backing close to a curb.

It’s the same for tilting although a seperate switch. You need to have the switch set to L or R for them to tilt. Not set in the middle.

Side mirrors point down backing up if you have either the L or R mirror selected. If you have no mirror selected the mirrors do not tilt down.

I found that strange that it had to be either L or R for it to work. Maybe Australian models only.

The switch is actually for adjusting the viewing angle of the mirrors individually, left or right. When the switch is centred the mirrors are in neutral basically and don’t move in any direction.
