I've managed to scratch the silver plastic trim on the driver's door. Does anyone know if the silver plastic (or the entire handle including the black rubbery piece behind the silver plastic) can be removed and replaced without needing to buy the whole door card? Thanks in advance.

I recall reading that the entire handle needs replacing.

Would you bother replacing just for that little scratch. Can you use some chrome polish on it to try and buff it out to make it less noticeable.

Time for some Testors aluminum and a very, very small brush. I bet it won't even attract attention.

I would wrap it with 3m brushed aluminum vinyl .........................

Hi all, thanks for your suggestions.

I'd already tried buffing it out before taking the photo - it's a little better than it was but still noticeable, it's more obvious in the sunshine rather than in the garage where I took the photo.

I will definitely try this, thanks for the recommendation!

It did occur to me to wrap it but I'm terrible at that kind of thing and I can't find a business in my city that wraps interior trims.

Haven't found one wrecking a Stinger yet. Stingers are so rare I figure those places won't have Stinger parts often.

There's one south of Brisbane but I can't recall the name. Check ebay for the listing.
