I don't like the way the black chrome looks on my Aurora Black Stinger. I want to black it all out but can't find anything any where that has black parts. (Mirror Cap, Window Trim, Upper and Lower Grille and just anywhere that the black chrome is)

Does anyone know of someone selling these parts in a color close to aurora black and not in black chrome or carbon fiber? Or do I just need to go get these parts wrapped in a black wrap?

Great question! I’m interested too. All I see is carbon fiber options (for the trim in particular).

The 3 dominate choices seem to be CF replacement parts, wrapping them, or plasti dipping them. That's also about the order for quality and cost.

CF replacement parts? Not sure what the CF stands for

I'm sorry, carbon fiber. Most of the major stinger parts sites sell them. for example:

I put carbon fiber on the grill and it looks terrible after all the rock chips -- and I don't drive on gravel--all highway. Not as bad looking as the black chrome with water stains, but a big disappointment none the less. If I could do it over again I would have put on the CF and then wrapped it in PPF, although I'm assuming that would be a huge pain to do.

I've been looking into this as well. Honestly, Kia should have just done all the exterior parts in gloss black. The "black" chrome doesn't really match any of the car colors. It looks ok with my Panthera Metal but black or carbon fiber would look better.

I think it looks best on snow white pearl Stingers. I like it and it has gotten positive comments by people checking out the car.

Agreed, gloss black would have been the best. On black cars, the OEM stuff sometimes looks gold.
