Replace T-Shifter

I have the GT model... and would really like to upgrade the T-Shifter.. I am not looking to add the "shift by wire tech".. just like the look of the GT2 knob... any thoughts?

I can pretty much guarantee it would be a significant install/modding required. It isn't going to be plug and play, so wouldn't shock me if it costs a few grand... my guess is if you were ok spending a few grand extra you probably would have done it by getting the gt2 in the first place. That was from my experience with other cars, i read a few people tried modding their shifters and it was a pretty expensive install. I like the shifter but I don't like it that much

I contacted kia when the Mrs and I purchased our yellow stinger. I wanted the flat, drive by wire handle. I was told that 1) it's only for the drive by wire system, the other is a conventional shifting trans, and 2) the shaft is different and would require some serious mods. Give it time, someone will make an aftermarket shifter handle.

I perfer the t bone shifter. Reminds me of the 80s muscle cars.
