Well its time to replace my Eibach Bushings. Getting the squeak when you go over speed bumps of dips in the road that cause the front to go up and down. Do I have to disengage the End links from the sway bar to access or can I just remove the mounting bolts for the bushing cover and remove and replace? Figuring I have to remove the bottom of each end link to release tension in the bar after I put the car up on stands?

How many kms on the bushings? Eibach come with poly bushings that should last for a very long time. Have you ever greased the bushings using the zerk fittings with a grease gun? I grease mine every oil change and it keeps the sqeaks at bay.

Couple of years, I'd say. Grease them when ever they would start squeaking. Got some Energy Suspension that I will replace them with. They are Poly too. What type of grease do you use?

I had the same issue at the beginning of the year. One of the bushings was bad and the bracket was moving. Every Bump would cause a clunk in the front. Replaced with the Energy Suspension and did not have to remove the sway bar end links just the 2 bolts holding the bracket and was able to move the sway bar down the replace the bushing.

Did you have your car on stands when you did it or ramps?

Motomaster wheel bearing and chassis grease from crappytire is what I use.

Thanks. Ended up getting their Semi Synthetic Tube. Took about an hour to tear down, clean things up and reinstall new. The sound of silence is so nice!!
