Remove the silver strip from front bumper vent

I'm try to wrap those sliver strip at the front bumper vent to another color.
Is seem no one talk about this before, so I did some research and looking for some simple way to take those silver strip out of the vent.
According those pictures I can found, it show that those silver strip just secured by few snap behind it.
Are there anyone try it before or able to give us some clear view about those clips?

You could wrap them in vinyl without removing them from the car easy enough

add a little heat to the tabs so there more malleable. heat gun or hair dryer. it pops right out

Sure that will be the easiest to vinyl them, but such a noob like me better remove it out and take my time.

Definitely a better choice, but just try to keep a low profile for my stinger

A roll of cloth tape is a lot better than risking breaking those tabs.
