Hello,

I want more turbo noises in the cabin of my car, trying to avoid going full intake replacement (although that might happen still). I'm wondering if anyone has just replaced the stock air filters with aftermarket high flow ones and removed the sound deadening from the hood. Would that be a step in the right direction?

Honestly that’s not going to do anything. If you want the sound, you’re going to have to get intakes. That sound deadening material may also be heat shielding. I’m not sure; but i wouldn’t remove it

Yup, I wouldn’t do it. Gotta change your intakes.

its sound and heat shield as said, youll ruin the paint in short order. get intakes

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
put some holes in the firewall while you're at it, you'll get lots of noise that way.

Lol this is such a weird thread. If you want turbo noise get aftermarket bov's or intakes. Dont start stripping shit off your car haha

Just take off the hood. JK

All right, thought it was a long shot. Thanks everyone, I won't touch the sound deadening. ha ha
