Release (and tighten) these clamps?

How do you loosen and then tighten this style of hose clamp? Never encountered this before..

Pliers to remove. And replace with something normal.

You might be able to clamp a drill around it too.

Correct, the domed piece is just a snap on cover. Get a small screwdriver under it and pry up

When I first seen these (when i changed my spark plugs) I couldnt figure it out. Felt like zoolander when he was told the files are in the computer

That’s right they just pop off ... I kept them off after I installed the intercooler ...

It's funny, I thought I broke mine on my last car when the cover popped off as I was loosening. Then it was cake to remove. Sorry I didn't share that 6 months ago.
