Reason to Wait?

I had the same hesitations before my purchase. However, after reading through how this car was engineered by putting it through rigors over and above most other first year models. Then actually test driving it 3 times with 3 different cars (RWD GT1, AWD GT2, RWD GT2) i felt comfortable enough that the build quality was there and mechanically felt on par and in some cases better than the others i test drove (GS350 fsport, 4series GC, 335, 5 series M sport, Jag XE, Q50 3.0T/Red Sport since I'm a long time Infiniti G owner)

There's enough tech in my GT1 and I don't need all that HUD lane assist junk that I turn off in my Benz SUV. Now the hardest part is fighting my inner modder, but since I'm a dad now it's a bit harder for me to justify customizing the way I did with my G. Daddy's got diapers to buy, but I LOVE MY NEW DADDY MOBILE!!

Literally the only thing I wish I had were the 360 cameras. And it's not coming anytime soon to the US model, wireless charging and covered cup holder can definitely be added in after the fact, so that's not even a reason to wait.

I was also a long time Nissan/Infiniti owner and I think the Stinger is a very well built vehicle and a great performer as well. Aside from the small this that have been posted here and troubleshooted successfully, the holding out for a newer model is not going to be beneficial, unless you are planning on getting the Atlantica version, which is the Stinger everyone except the US got.

When Korean cars first hit the US market, they were considered a cheaper alternative to Japanese vehicles. They were better value cars, always seeming to offer the bells and whistles found on the more expensive Japanese equivalent. I believe the Stinger continues this tradition: offering all the optional and state-of-the art features found on an equivalent car 50%-100% more expensive (but instead of Japanese cars, the Stinger's equivalents are European cars). The GT2 has just about every feature found a loaded BMW or Mercedes Benz, with very similar quality. So, if you are in the market for this kind of car, this is a deal. Especially if the lease cash deal continues into next month. We'll see tomorrow, hope so for those still on the fence. I am sure once we get through the summer and all the Stingers are riding around getting attention, sales will go up and the promotional offers will be reduced. Between the lease cash and the dealer discount, I got over $10,000 off the sticker price of the GT2. I suspect that this kind of deal will likely not be around once brand awareness is established in the market and they start selling themselves.

When I exchange my former 2010 Nissan Altima SR V6 for a 2016 Nissan Maxima (which was the new radical version from the past models) I wanted all the tech features from the more expensive version and the "sport" features from the middle version or SR in one model only. So, I had to decide between a tech confort version versus "sporty" stiffer version......since I drove and modded a pair of Pontiac Trans ams with a big engine my choice was obvious. When I read about the Kia Stinger GT2 features, all I wanted and looking for in one car model plus twin turbo engine, the name Kia do not care for me at all. I focused on the model that gathered everything I wanted in a car at this stage of my life with the advantage of being affordable for me, when a Porche, a Ferrari or at least a Corvette do not. And here I am own a Grand Touring car with power engine, power brakes, power technology, beautiful aesthetics, well assembled, confortable seats and elective suspension....

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
