Rearview Camera Question

There it is, Section 4 Page 112: "Also, it displays rear view image when there is driver's request (sic) even in N/D gear". How does the driver request this rear view image? It goes on to say that one of the conditions to be met is that the camera is "on". Is there an on/off switch? I am baffled by this, and the lack of a coherent, not to mention grammatically correct, explanation.

When driving if I press the camera button on the console the camera will come on & you can switch by tapping the screen

That option only applies for the Stingers equipped with the 360 camera view. Which none of the US version came with, therefore we do not have the button on the center console.

I asked this very same question a couple of months or so ago. Apparently the Stinger manual is rendered opaque in many places by including "apps" that have nothing to do with the US trims.

My GT2 does not come equip with 360 view however when I press the rear view camera on the center console the cam will be displayed on the center display when in D, N or P. Irregardless if car is stationary or moving.

Yep. That's how the manual describes it. No mention at all of a 360 degree camera. I looked in vain for a "camera button" and came here to ask "where/what is it?" And got educated.

Just bought a GT2 and the manual is not the best feature--I am OK with less manual and more car features I, too, was looking at the manual and thought, "this is cool"
