Rear view mirrors not tilting in reverse

One of those subtle little things. . . . .
However more horsepower and torque than my Corvette had. I can seat 4 very comfortably and 5 with a little squeezing. Drives better than my Corvette. Tracks so well that on a straight road, regardless of road crown, the nanny can't detect any input from me and complains frequently. A gentle little wiggle of the wheel satisfies her, but isn't necessary to stay in my lane. Nearly as comfortable as my town car was as a passenger and more comfortable as a driver. Great warranty! 0! I say 0 defects. 0 problems. Best car I have ever owned. Was planning on leaving it to a grandkid, but may just get buried in it.

I do. I tested it a few times. I was hoping it was another button I was overlooking but it seems like I might have to have the dealer take a look at it.
That worked for me I've been racking my brain trying to figure out what happened

Mine works perfectly fine. When set to "L" when reversing, the side mirrors tilt down which is great for parallel parking. When set to a flat position, they are normal height, whatever you set it to.
I can’t make mine set set to a rev. Preset

Push in the "L" or "R" button for mirror control...Then put car in Reverse.... ;)
As stated above, you need to select "L" or "R" and it will work. I just leave the switch in that position all the time!

If I inadvertently adjust mirror I just hit the seat memory!

Hi everyone, done the registration just for this question. Could you please help to confirm if All-new Sorento Sport Plus has this feature? Did try to select L/R then reverse but it still didn't work. TIA

If All Else Fails.....You can always refer to the manual.

do you have the mirror switch on the left side clicked , they only work when you have the left side engaged
Your answer was the first answer that came up when I searched and it worked. Thanks!

Had the same issue of the mirror not tilting with the car in reverse. Switch to the left mirror control and it is working now. Thanks

try the 'r' mirror control that works too unless yours is defective.

In the MY23 Stinger you do not put the mirror setting in the centre position.

You leave it in the Left adjust or Right adjust position for the reverse mirrors to work correctly.
