Rear seatbelt locked up

The rear seat belt was pulled out all the way while strapping my daughter in, and it locked while fully extended. I tried gently gently tugging on it to try to get it to feed a little more, I tried jerking on it, there doesn't appear to be any other alternatives, it won't retract.

Anyone else experienced this or know how to release it?

Jammed. Probably easy to fix by disassembly to get at the retractor. (I haven't read on here of a jammed seatbelt before. You, too, are special, sorry.)

Yeah, that's what I figured! It's due for an oil change and has another warranty issue to deal with, so I'll add it to the list

Funny you should ask, the car is at the dealership right now having the seatbelt retractor replaced, they had to order a new part, no quick fix.
