Rear end slipping a lot on GT?

I finally got my red GT last night and have been driving it relaxed for the first 1000 Km, still even below 4000 RPM this car is very fast, though I've felt the acceleration might be a little violent and tends to lose rear grip even in comfort mode driving straight. Have someone else experienced the same? or should there be a problem with my car?

No problem with the car, it's your right foot shaking from excitement .......

It is a powerful toy so be careful (especially with traction control off)

370 ft lbs of torque is nothing to sneeze at. However, I actually found it easier to break the rear end of my Genesis Coupe on turns more than my Stinger GT. Even in comfort mode while straight? Hrmm. It may be possible something might be wrong with your ESC. The only time I have to worry about losing rear traction while in comfort mode is when I mash the accelerator. Or it may be that your 'comfort mode' is actually programmed for sport mode?

Does it do it often, as in just about every acceleration or just certain roads? It could also be the condition of the road, whether or not it's dirty, has a lot of small gravel, etc.

You may be keeping it below 4000rpm ... but how fast are you going from 1000rpm to 4000rpm

Without information on what tyres you are using (assuming default Michelin's), if the tyre's are warm or if doing as soon as you pull out your driveway, local temperature (i.e. Above 10deg?) and road conditions ... its very hard to say if it's a problem or if it's normal.

I centainly pushed the throttle hard in order to pass some morons going slow in the wrong side of the road..... the tires are Conti sport contact 5 and were already warm since I have been driving for 20 min or so. Temperatures here are mild, so around 14-15 C, and it was tarmac in good condition.

If you are losing the back of the Car in Comfort mode, when just over taking, in 15deg temp, on a dry tarmac road ... then I would say yes you need to see a dealership, the TR/SC isn't working 100%.

Just a side note, for the first 600miles even if going from 2000 to 4000 rpm I wouldn't floor it.

If you are losing the back of the Car in Comfort mode, when just over taking, in 15deg temp, on a dry tarmac road ... then I would say yes you need to see a dealership, the TR/SC isn't working 100%.
