For Sale RaceChip GTS Black w/App Control

Hey guys, so as some of you know I picked up a RaceChip GTS Black w/App Control and tested it in my vehicle.

Chip was amazing while it lasted but I ended up getting spark plug issues which have caused me to remove the chip from my vehicle. My issues could be due to the fact I only have 91 octane fuel available to me and RaceChip has said the chip works best with 93 and that "Race" mode should only be used with 93 and above.

RaceChip has since sent me a software update that I haven't installed yet. For now, I'd rather hold out and see future results. I also don't plan on upgrading my spark plugs and would rather leave the car stock.

If I want a refund from RaceChip I gotta pay shipping to Germany so I figured I'd cut my losses and see if any members in Ontario are interested.

Good luck. If you end up widening your area of potential sale then I'll keep an eye on the thread. Some of your cousins down south may be interested.

FYI 900 CAD is about 708 USD.

Just FYI, that given stock plugs are coming out gapped at .035 and above, you will likely have spark blowout even stock as gap errodes further with use. While it should change your perspective on whether you want to sell your RC, I think you shouldn't say I don;t want to change my plugs in absolute terms. I actually think there will be some kind of TSB on this in the future. A high performance turbo motor should not have plug gaps approaching .040 and expect to run without blow out under load.

Yeah for sure, I hear you, but there is a difference between Kia releasing a TSB and bringing the car to a dealer for warranty service, and upgrading to aftermarket plugs or modifying the current ones.

I don't mind widening my selling area, just thought local would be easier, but I wouldn't cover the shipping.

Situation I'm in is I paid $1,013.84 CAD for the chip, then an extra $140 in duty and taxes. I can pay to ship it back to RaceChip and get a full refund. I just figured if I'm losing money either way on shipping costs, I might as well just deduct them from my total and sell it to someone local, still status quo for me but at least I can help someone else get a nice deal.

The way our dollar is, not sure if it'd be worth it for you guys though. I'm looking at about $100 CAD to ship to US according to Purolator and UPS estimates. So you'd be looking at more around $786,98 USD ... anyone that's okay with paying that, give me a shout.
