I was looking to get some 19x8.5 +35 wheels (probably Advanti Hybrises) with 255/35 tires for my Stinger 2.0, but I looked at my suspension and it seems like a pretty tight fit even with my stock 18x8s. I know many GTs have fit much wider than an 8.5, so i was just wondering if the 2.0 was different and it wouldnt accommodate that. Any help is appreciated!

Howdy and welcome into the open. How much lurking have you been doing? :P There is a lot of discussion on this. The 2.0L has even more clearance than the GT with Brembo calipers (or I am very much mistaken; hah; always ready to be corrected).

Thank you, and I would assume so for that, its just the strut I’m worried about. I’m sure if they get too close then some 5mm spacers would do the trick.
I’ve been in the shadows for a while, I joined before I got my exhaust about a year ago I just knew the forums were a great tool but didn’t need any help so far.
Anyways man I love your car, if I had more to spend I would seriously consider the TSW Watkins, they look killer.

Thanks.

One consideration when talking spacers: you've already moved out 5mm further than me (40 offset) by having that 35 offset; 5mm spacers (if you had to clear the strut with 255 or wider tires) would result in 10mm closer to the inside of the fender; that might be too much.

Hey! I'm not too sure about the spacing with 2.0 vs the GT, but I just got the Advantis Hybris 19x8.5 +35mm on my GT this morning. Fit is great and the rims look awesome too!

Thats awesome man! Do you have pictures?

Here are some pictures, it was raining all morning so they're already pretty dirty. I kept the stock Michelin tires for now but will eventually get same size to be able to rotate.

For sure my favorite wheels, and look amazing on your car. The issue now is that they are on backorder for at least a few months....
I’m debating playing the waiting game or finding something different

EDIT: scratch that, discount tire must still have some, and I just ordered them
Mentally fist pumping right now

Thanks and that's awesome! Update with some pictures once you get them!
