Well its tax return season, I am getting enough to do the sway bars and end-links and I've done a lot of reading. Just need some things clarified.
1. Body roll. Am I understanding correctly that the "body roll" is when, for example, I go over a bump/sewer grate there is a minor shimmy/bounce in the rear end of the car? I drive on rather rough Canadian city roads the majority of the time and coming from a Civic Si I find the ride much smoother but less controlled over bumps and roughness. Will this help with that?
2. Rear sway or Front+Rear? I find the rear of the car is the biggest issue, I know some of you have only the rear. Does changing the front have as large of an impact as the rear? Guess that's a hard one to answer.
3. Whiteline, Eibach, or ARK sway bars. From what I can tell 2/3 are adjustable, the thickness is similar. I have a really good price in Canada for Whiteline sways and end links; has anyone switched between brands and noticed a big difference? I've read the Eibachs have an issue with the bushings getting cut or something, I would rather not deal with something like that.
4. Are upgraded end-links necessary? I don't plan on lowering, and I know these are adjustable but they look much thicker (Whiteline end-links) than the stock ones which would most likely become a weak point with upgraded sway bars. Do you guys think the ATQ chassis collars are a better buy for around the same price?
5. Those of you in Canada, who did you buy your sways/end-links from? I am currently looking at buying from uniqperformance as they seem to have the best prices for me.
Sorry if some of this is redundant, I try to research before I ask but it's a lot to sift through.
