Well its tax return season, I am getting enough to do the sway bars and end-links and I've done a lot of reading. Just need some things clarified.

1. Body roll. Am I understanding correctly that the "body roll" is when, for example, I go over a bump/sewer grate there is a minor shimmy/bounce in the rear end of the car? I drive on rather rough Canadian city roads the majority of the time and coming from a Civic Si I find the ride much smoother but less controlled over bumps and roughness. Will this help with that?

2. Rear sway or Front+Rear? I find the rear of the car is the biggest issue, I know some of you have only the rear. Does changing the front have as large of an impact as the rear? Guess that's a hard one to answer.

3. Whiteline, Eibach, or ARK sway bars. From what I can tell 2/3 are adjustable, the thickness is similar. I have a really good price in Canada for Whiteline sways and end links; has anyone switched between brands and noticed a big difference? I've read the Eibachs have an issue with the bushings getting cut or something, I would rather not deal with something like that.

4. Are upgraded end-links necessary? I don't plan on lowering, and I know these are adjustable but they look much thicker (Whiteline end-links) than the stock ones which would most likely become a weak point with upgraded sway bars. Do you guys think the ATQ chassis collars are a better buy for around the same price?

5. Those of you in Canada, who did you buy your sways/end-links from? I am currently looking at buying from uniqperformance as they seem to have the best prices for me.

Sorry if some of this is redundant, I try to research before I ask but it's a lot to sift through.

1. Body roll is when you drive around a corner. The car will tilt to one side. The front and rear sway bars limit this. The stronger the sway bars the less tilt. It effectively allows you to drive around corners a bit faster.
2. Do both, as they are designed to work together. The people that do the rear sway bar only are only doing it because they do not want to spend the money.
3. It's up to you. I'm sure some other people will provide their feedback on different brands. I like the Super Performance kit, but I do not think it is available in Canada.
4. I would buy the whole package. The sway bars are designed to work together. Adjustable end-links are preferable as they can tention the bar perfectly.
5. I live in Australia and cannot comment on this.

Not sure how it works in Canada, but I would check if you are voiding your warranty by doing this. I would be interested to know if this would be the case?

I have Eibach Front & Rear Sways Bars (softest setting) & the Whiteline Heavy Duty Endlinks fitted, there has been a ton of reviews written about this same subject, but to put it simply IMHO this is the best & most economical modification you can make to this car, if makes it the complete GT.

Body roll is the feeling that one side of the car is lifting when you make a sharp turn. When you remove the body roll the car feels flat in the twisties.

From experience I can tell you that with the AWD the rear bar only makes a dramatic difference. A lot of AWD guys run the rear bar only and are very happy with it, myself included. I am considering adding the front just to see if I like it or not.

My rear bar is eibach and the quality is top notch. The issue you saw with a members front bushings getting destroyed from the eibach bar can probably be traced back to a faulty install. No other member has reported that and it seems like an isolated incident.

4. Are upgraded end-links necessary? Can't help you much on the end link question but mine has stock end links in the rear with zero issues so far. I have heard some members having issues with the aftermarket end links though.

Tdotperformance is where I got my rear bar.

Thanks a lot for your replies guys and laying it out for me, I appreciate it. I'm leaning towards the Eibach sways, simply because the grease fittings are really helpful. It is $400 CAD for just the rear bar and a touch over $600 for the front and rear, i'm leaning towards both since it seems like a better deal to bundle them.

Has anyone outside the US dealt with Khar Tunerz? Even with our shit dollar and taxes it seems like I might get a better price from them.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Khar is great, but expect exchange, shipping, and duty fees. Our dollar is so crappy right now getting anything out of the US is pricey. I've bought a number of item from Uniq and the service has been great. Rob's awesome to deal with.

I want to use Uniq, but they want $85 to ship the end-links which is absurd IMO. So $457 with taxes and shipping, which is unfortunately outside my budget.

Just get the bars, imo you dont need the endlinks, sure they're a nice to have, but not necessary...

Maybe source the endlinks on eBay, you could probably get the full set with free delivery.

Maybe drop a line and check on a cheaper shipping option.

You should put your location in your profile - you'll find it's a very helpful piece of information.

If you live near the border, consider having the bars shipped to a border storage facility using the free shipping available from a large number of U.S. vendors, which can save a considerable amount of money. I use a company in Sweetgrass, MT that holds packages for pickup, and I typically put together several purchases before driving down to make the trip especially worthwhile. The cost for receiving and holding individual shipments is very low.

Doesn't hurt that there is a great hamburger place a few mile further down the road in Montana ...

I have to get ramps, new jack stands and a power tool that should help with the install, I've decided to just go with the sway bars.

I looked into it, was about $410 all in from eBay which was less but like I said above I need some hardware since I'm installing myself so I'll just get the bars for now. Thanks!

I'm in London, which is between Windsor and Toronto in southern Ontario. I hate having to bring stuff across the border, I'll just order from Tdotperformance and wait it out for a 10% coupon or sale.

Thanks so much for the help and input guys!

I noticed tdot offered free shipping, but is more expensive than Uniq. So not really free lol

But what better way to shop for parts than via a road trip. :D

No problem, happy to help, I hope everything works out the way you want it, good luck & enjoy the car.

Just an FYI, I saw TDot Performance has a 7% off site wide sale that applies to the sway bars. Seriously considering ordering one now too....

Not true of this boy. I haven't tried the front sway bar simply because the rear sway bar took the "wiggle" out; which was not bugging me but I had noticed it but not considered it, until I started reading about it on the forum. "Oh, is that what they are calling it?" I just took the step-out to the side on undulating curves in stride; it never felt like the car was losing it. Other drivers were going on about how awful it felt. Okay. I guess I'll try the rear bar and see. I've kept it on Soft the entire time (over a year). And I'm happy with the way the steering feels, so why mess with something that is improved already?
