Questionable redirect on stingerforum.org sub threads

just today while browsing various new posts...I get a sudden redirect “zenkk” site “you’ve won a gift card” bull crap.You can’t cancel. Have to close my tab out and relaunch the page.

iPhone 8 with safari. This started around 1:30 pm.

Every time I've clicked through an email link notification to a subscribed thread today from my phone I've gotten one of these popups. No bueno.

Earlier this year that was a huge problem on the forum. Sal rectified it through software upgrades. I guess the forum is due for better security.

Got that same thing multiple times this afternoon as well. Must be my lucky day. Apparently I won a lot of stuff.

It's a specific ad hijacking browsers. Please take a screenshot of any ad you suspect might be the one causing it to happen. I'm trying to find it as well - but it's not happening for me.

Wasn’t from an email. It was when I was going into various “new posts” sub threads. As I scrolled down. I can’t say i got a peek at which ad. The pop up likely covered it.

I followed a few email links last night and this morning and it wasn't popping up anymore for me on iOS thru safari. So maybe fixed?

I reported the issue so hopefully it's gone. Please let me know if it pops up again...
