Question about editing posts a few days later.

I couldn't find anyplace else to put this, so I thought this would be the best place. I can't seem to edit anything that isn't really new. I posted something in classifieds, and now that it is sold, I want to mark it as sold, but I can't see the edit button for that post. I posted a comment in that thread, and it will let me edit that comment, but not the original one. What am I missing?

The editing feature only lasts a couple of days, if that. And there isn't a way to edit the title content after the thread is posted. If you want help with that, Sal has the power.

I thought that was the case, but in that case what is the proper way to handle a classified that sold? Just comment “sold”? That’s what I did for now.

Yes. Announced Sold in a post works. And then if Sal wants to he can alter the title to show that, or just let the thread sink out of sight.
