Quality of materials

OMG ! the top version is actually quite nice , but the rest ? do they really exist or is someone try to yank one out on us ...................Thanks for posting though !
The first one is the cheapest one. It is just carbon fiber vynil. I would not recommend it.;)
The rest all "exists" but they are custom mods so you pay someone to make it the way you want it.
I personally like the last one, but I don't know how these things hold over time.. because if that leather starts getting lose it would be worse than stock..

Agree with WCGT...the first is the only one I'd consider. Was it a DIY job, or professionally done?

Looks like a DIY.. just cut a round piece of carbon fiber vynil and apply it.

Maybe you will like some of these steering wheel airbag cover mods:
:D

A couple of those would actually work for me. Now to see if the turbo lag can be modded away...

Remove the turbos.

That would make sense to me - and without the oval badge at the left side...

Yeah, prefer if they didn't put the oval badge anywhere at the rear, but that's not going to happen.

Personally, would have it devoid of any badging aside from the scripted Stinger at the rear and the GT lettering (just prefer a clean look).

YEH , what are you driving now ?

^ Grew up driving German and for the time being, waiting to see what Genesis brings to the table for its next gen models (don't particularly care for the current design of the G70 or G80, but absolutely love the design of the New York concept - so we'll see if that's the direction Genesis design ends up going).

Really like the Stinger, but like others, waiting to see if Kia makes the changes that many are looking for.

I am not sure what to call it, but the plastic part on the bottom middle of the steering wheel that has "GT" on it. I hate it, shiny and a fingerprint attractor. Can this be removed/replaced?

If I can find an E emblem for the steering wheel like that. I'll just tape it on and I'd buy the vinyl carbon fiber and just wrap it around the E. No need to switch up to the E wheel then. And wrap the side plastics in that too.

I have to give Kia high marks for using high quality materials where it functionally matters and where they can/do choose to use lower quality for the sake of economy, doing it without regard to its visibility. They are at least up front about it and not trying to hide their choices.
