Searching around for upgrade paths there’s some old information about Pure Hybrid Turbo Upgrades but I’m struggling to find more info on them.

The dyno graph pictures I’ve found are very blurry and haven’t heard of anyone actually installing them besides for Terry back in 2019?

Any information on these and if they’re worth it would be lovely. I’m not ready to drop $20k on a full big-turbo setup but Im definitely ready to pull the trigger on a $3.5K upgrade if it’s worth it’s weight.

Looks like I can expect around 560whp if I read those pixelated dynos right.

very nice. interested in this also. what they do is pretty much just over-build the stock turbos correct?

unless im mistaken the center section isnt changed. i think the shaft and journals are the same. if so thats a NOPE

From my understanding they just replace the stock parts, a drop-in upgrade is what I’m after, but the fitment is super tight. I want to go big turbo but I can’t justify that financially until end of year.

A "hybrid" turbo changes the compressor/impeller wheels but keeps the stock housings.
A handful of folks used them when they came out. As with everything, lead times are a killer.
If you're that serious about performance then this is your only option until going full big turbo. Also, if you're that serious, then you just jump in and do it - you don't ask for references. This is a hobby where you throw money out the window as fast as you can, after all. :)

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
So I personally have used Pure Turbos stage 2 for my n54 about 6 years ago, they were awesome and it put down just over 550 to the wheels. I had that vehicle for about 4 years and never had an issue and the great thing about that hybrid turbo was the spool up was the same time as stock, but it pulled harder and was smooth. I am not considering this Pure turbo because i know they are done right and truly will give you power.

It does seem strange to have such sparse dyno numbers after a couple years of availability. Unless the severe restriction in the exhaust manifolds/turbine housings prevents them from making more power than a well-sorted tune with CPI/methanol.

I would very much like to be proven wrong, and as I've posted before, I'd happily give up 500rpm of spool for an extra hundred horsepower. But there don't seem to be many 600/650/700hp Stingers in the wild.

Id agree. However, I would love to find a good tuner for CPI. Any idea if there are any out there?
