This is something I've been pushing for since day one. Kia actually forgot the fog lights. Basically every car has them. Strange oversight...

Any idea when or how much?
I'm not certain on price yet. All I know for sure, is that they're being made in very small quantities. I will list a price as soon as I can.

I'd like this discussion to serve as a way for people to get on board for the product. I'm going to need to build a list and, perhaps, take down payments. I'm sure they will be reasonably priced...

It's a possibility, would love to see a picture at twilight / dusk

How/where will the switch be? Similar idea to the LED DRLs I had added to my Crosstour. Honda never added them to the CT but the fog shroud was the ideal location and there was a chrome strip there. They just replaced it with an LED array. They sold the whole shroud for easy install. They looked great but just linked into the system, not separate like fogs or will they just be on all the time?

...................nice , these are something I really think will complete the missing link .........................

I am on board sir. Just let me know!

Any pictures of lights installed both on and off and a close up picture, the only way i couls make a decision is to make sure it wont affect the airflow too radically or aesthetics

I am very interested.. my only concern is if the led colors match.. IMO, that is the deal breaker..

Also, any badge updates?

I've posted everything I know at this point - which is only that availability is coming. In other words, don't buy something ugly when you can save that money for something nice that'll be available very soon. As more information comes in, I'lll post it here.

@RandallK, the black chrome badges will be in stock this week - finally...

Thanks for the post and legwork on fog lights. Very interested and following. Hope they are true fog lights and not just DRL. How they are switched on and a light spectrum match to the headlights are my paramount concerns.

and not just DRL
I on the contrary hope it's just DRL to be able to run it always when drive or it will blind other drivers.

Interested, but need to see the final details. Would really need to match the lights in output color, and have a fully OEM like integration without some third party ugly switch to be worth it to me.

I'm interested also.
But will the beam pattern be spread low and wide?
And many prefer yellow light to use as a contrast in fog, so option regrding light color?

I am not a fan of the badly aimed fog lamp users who run them all the time to exhibit their awesome European rally skills. I am also not a fan of superfluous accessory lighting that is not functional. Here I go again- being all ornery.

I agree.
As I had written before, euro cars have the proper setup where fogs lights (front and rear) must be turned on by driver as they shut off when car is shut off. Not like other brands where once you turn them on, they stay on until turned off. Many drivers forget to turn them off even when the weather clears.
Low and wide is the correct and useful light pattern for fog.
To me, function is paramount.
And don't get me started on our (non functional) hood scoops.
