PRESSERtech tune review

Those are just fine numbers if you’re happy. Don’t let anyone rain on your parade lol.

351/440 is better than stock, and probably has nice drivability… So be happy with it.

Yeah I was happy then run it with tune 91 octane For DD or track it with chip turned on run it at the Area 27 at 409 whp with still smooth Rollin lol The tuners was surprised to how well they worked together but warned me to make sure the high octane in the tank 93-98 lol The Tuner also that our gas quality can not match the US , so for crappy gas ⛽️ this is my final results:)

What were your numbers before the tune with just your Racechip? I thought I remember them being around 400whp?

The Dyno before ,was at another place and the report got messed up some how , This Dyno com report at Classified Motorsports where I had all my Mods all done before and the WHP was 356.5 / Torque was 503 lb-ft ,I believe on the stock ECU and using Chevron 94 gas ! The Pressertech tune with the RC are running well with 93 to 98 octane but I was told not to run it with 91 octane which I already knew , most likely if the CAI wasn’t so heat soaked the Pressertech tune perhaps would hit 360 or a bit more :) I intended to only do 3 runs but In total 7 with some time in between the last Pressertech runs :) Still I am pleased

That looks like comfort mode Pressertech results. You need to have the dyno pulls done in sport mode with traction and stability control off.
They were all done In sport mode with traction and stability off lol , the engine was cooking at that last 2 runs lol TBH the USA gas is so far superior to Canadian gas , they need to regulate the gas better over here in Kelowna BC :) The Pressertech Tune as you can see by my DynoCom report was very smooth, it is designed for this crappy gas ⛽️ up here but all in all with the RC on it is definitely good for what I need . The nice thing with the way I have it setup , to go back to the 91 tune only just click the button in my RaceChip App to off and , it Is running only on the ECU tune :)

Forgive me, sometimes I have a hard time following what you're saying.

Are you telling us your car with Pressertech tuned ECU makes 351 whp and your stock ECU run with the same mods made 356 whp?

No lol ,that 356 whp was from another Dyno run I got with just the race chip and stock ECU last year in early 2019 lol my stock ECU would be approximately 311 on Canadian crap gas chevron 94 or less lol This DynoCom Dyno run was using 91 Shell Vpower plus 16 oz of Boostane, I hope this clears things up for you :)

I also put up the Dyno sheet earlier!

Anybody know where to find a 1/4 mile 0-60 pressertech number? I am seriously considering it for next year.

Yeah, I asked Scott from Presser and they offered the stage 2. All these marketing terms though. Stage 2 means what? Is yours a stage 1 then?

I live near pressertech and it is also hard to get definite answers.I would not mind just 50 hp if it is safer and will not void the warranty.BTW tork has tunes but problem is they have done so many other mods that it is hard to tell where the HP is coming from.I mean what recourse does anyone have if they dyno the car and find out it only gained 15hp instead of the 70 to 90 that is claimed.93 to 95 octane is available all over near me which is no problem.

I think there's a much better chance of a Pressertech tune not making the claimed performance numbers (1/4 mile, 0-60, etc) than Tork. Though the fellas at Tork have proven to be rather abrasive the results of their tune speak volumes. Tork has broken, rebroken, and rebroken records. Currently the fastest documented 0-60 and 1/4 mile Stinger times in the U.S. is on a Tork tuned car. As far as the Stinger goes no ECU tune comes close to theirs. The 0-60 and 1/4 mile lists are littered with Tork and JB4 tuned Stingers. To my knowledge Pressertech hasn't appeared on any of the performance tracking lists on this site.

I don't want to say anything bad about Pressertech's work on the Stinger but I think you should take the time and carefully read this thread before making that leap.

As far as "voiding the warranty" not one of the options available is safer than the other. JB4 users at least have the benefit of being able to uninstall the box in a few minutes time.

How many miles are on those plugs? I think you just talked me out of any tunes if they are going to chew through plugs like this.

Approximately 18k , 11 months on these Plugs and I am changing them right now , with just a tune and USA gas ⛽️ you won’t have the plugs eaten up like mine as I have to a lot Boostane Octane boost as we have really crappy gas in BC Canada and I am pushing close to 10 psi:) THere some good tuner s there and a safe tune would a Pressertech tune , smooth tune for sure , but I have a piggyback added as well :)
