As I approach the 10K mileage mark with the PresserTech tune, thought I'd update the community.

To recap, like most of you, I had misgivings about the plugs upon initial investigation of tuning options. Wasn't keen on messing with gaps, hence decided on PresserTech after the company assured me the plugs wouldn't be an issue. Presser also has extensive experience working on high-dollar exotic machinery i.e.; McLaren, etc, so I knew my ECU would be in good hands.

After a very professional and efficient transaction, I found the tune to be precisely what the doctor ordered. Based on dyno numbers, it seems PresserTech leaves a few ponies untapped in favor of dependability, a sensible tradeoff by my estimation. And how does the car feel? In a word --- optimized. Effortless acceleration, improved mileage, and a better 'comfort mode' driving experience. For context, I've owned a Dinan-tuned 335i, C5 Vette, C6 Z06, and an E92 M3. And I can say, without hesitation, that the PresserTech Stinger is on par, acceleration-wise, with any one of them.

To be clear, I drive the Stinger like I own it, not stole it --- most of the time that is. I've been challenged by a late model GTR and GT350; the Stinger acquitted itself extremely well against the GTR, so much so that the GTR driver appeared rather stunned. Against the 350, the two cars were literally neck and neck until we lost our respective nerve somewhere north of 180km/hr. GT350 driver looked to be in deep denial about the whole affair, the outcome of which he's probably still coming to terms.

While I can't say how the OEM plugs would tolerate repeated quarter mile runs, spirited daily driving has gone without incident. Not once has this thing hiccupped or misfired under WOT. And hence, in the final analysis, it's clear that PresserTech is the real deal.

And about the Stinger as a whole after two years of ownership? Well, to the extent one can adore an inanimate object, I love the Stinger. Bravo Kia, bravo.

Pre-Covid I was giving thought to heading to Atlanta and having them tune my car. Still might, in fact.
