Honestly this cars ECU is so adaptive I don't think it'd make a big difference. I don't know Kia, but I think for the mods he is getting they wouldn't add boost or timing specifically for the mods (they will adjust both however they normally would for no mods). They just need to adjust the VE to get the fuel trims closer to 0. I don't know Kia, like I said though, so this car's ECU scheme could be totally different from what I know.Ok need to call BS on this one. How can you tune for mods you don't have yet? Sure you can, just dont put the peddle down until you actually have the parts. Agressive boost and timing before you have the parts will end badly. This and with stock plugs. Good luck! Isn't this why every tumer out there has stages to match your upgrades?
And as far as plugs go, they are adjusting the coil voltage up so that different plugs/gaps aren't required. I'm assuming they are running a more moderate boost level than the more aggressive tunes or the plugs would most likely require changing still.
Edit: I reread every post from PRESSERtech in this thread and couldn't find a post about them changing spark energy via the ECU tune. Maybe I am confusing this with another post from Facebook or another tuner but I will revoke the comment about the plugs since I have no evidence
