Just cause we old, frugal or winning doesn’t mean every thread has to be a GT. Lets rock

I would love to know if anyone preferred the premium over the GT2. I've been debating back and forth on both and will eventually make up my mind lol.

Why skip over the GT1? Why go that close to the top trim and stop there?

The answers are simple: Premium has a 2.0T. The GT1 lacks features that are "standard" on the GT2 that someone (me) doesn't want or like: the full "driver assist" package for one; the "smart lift" hatch lid for another; the nappa leather seats for yet another. So why spend all that extra money for things that I don't want?

A Premium is everything that the GT1 is, but with a more economical engine. If I didn't want the performance of the 3.3TT, I'd have bought a Premium. That is literally the only reason why I don't have a Premium.

It seems logical to most enthusiasts to go with the 3.3, but the Stinger has a lot going for it that appeals to non-enthusiasts as well and the 2.0 is no slouch. In many markets, the 3.3 would be seen as an extravagance afforded to only a few.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

I like your enthusiasm and would be nice to see more 2.0L Stingers post on here.

As you said most non GT owners prioritized fuel efficiency and/or being frugal over performance so less enthusiasts & tuners in that group. Unfortunately lower numbers means lower quantity of posts overall.

We do have a few modded 2.0Ls in here and Bryan2.0 just ran a 13.9 1/4m with his!

But I agree, get yours too and go rock 2.0s!
