I'm very impressed with my 2022 Stinger GT1.

It surprises me that with nothing more than a brisk application of at most half throttle, it spins the rear wheels. I'm not impressed with the quality of road work done by TX DOT but that can't be the complete answer. Thoughts? Don

My RWD GT1 can spin the tires pretty easily when the tires have some miles on them and are wearing down. I recently put on new PS4 tires and do not have this problem as much. It might just take some time for you to get used to the vehicle or you may need new tires.

If you get some heat in the tires they will grip better, but yeah, welcome to a RWD stinger. I have lots of power upgrades and Pilot sport 4s tires and can break them loose anytime under about 30-40 mph, until they get good and warmed up. traditional driving never really gets the tire all that hot so it doesn't get close to maximum grip potential.

The rears wear either way AWD or not...

yes, but nowhere near as much if it was spinning all the time Staggered setup on our 540i went through rear tires at least 1.5 times as quickly.

Having never done much throttle wise on the brief test drive, I saw enough to tell me the engine/drivetrain was very responsive and I knew of the impressive writeups car magazines gave the 3.3L TT.

But I really love the surprise of the big shove in the back and wheelspin.

There is so much traffic and so much endless, badly bungled road construction courtesy of TX DOT, that I haven't given it full throttle, hope to get that chance soon!
