Power window issue

So I put my drivers window down today and went to put it back up with no success. trouble shooting 101 kicked in. The other 3 windows worked fine from the drivers door panel but no power to any other function. Checked the LH P/Window fuse and it was good and the module fuse was good too. Turned the fuse switch off then on and bingo everything worked again. I guess my only question now it what caused this to happen in the first place.

You didn't by chance have the window(s) down during a rain or car wash? Water could have tripped the breaker for that motor.

About the only time my window is down is to show my ID to the guard at the military base

Terminal leave means taking the remainder of your saved vacation days (leave) up until your EAS (End of Active Service). I

Sorry, just trying to be funny, I didn't know the exact meaning of the phrase but thought it meant something unique to the military. I did the same thing when I retired but doubled the time by only taking paid leave for half the time.

So the power window issue reared its ugly head again last night. Took her to the dealership first thing this morning and the entire service department is scratching their head. She is on a sleepover tucked away in their garage awaiting a response from Techline. I will post the final outcome when my baby comes home. This Forte loaner really sucks balls BTW

Got you by 6 years, think I'm the oldest in the forum. Spent 6 months at Ft. Leonard Wood, then active reserve 7.5 years.
