Any base gt guys swap in the power tilt function from a gt1/gt2?

Wait, your wheel doesn't retract and tilt up when you turn the car off?

No, base gt doesn't have a power tilt wheel.

That along with no nav/ugly screen/no sun roof are the most annoying things about the base gt. But I have the 3.3tt which is the only reason I'd own this car.

With that said, I did swap in the nav and 8" screen which work like factory. I was just wondering if I'd be possible to swap those items in as well? I found the power tilt switch, and the black plastic cover on eBay. Wondering if all the stuff is there for it to be swapped in.

I didn't realize that. I knew you had swapped the screen which was surprising to me. Not your swap but the difference in trims. I really didn't realize how much little stuff my premium actually had. The last thing i would have guessed would have been the tilt not being standard. I hope it works for you.

I feel like the premium got basically all the gt1 interior goodies, minus the performance stuff: engine, suspension, brakes, wheels/tires. While the base gt got some of the performance: brakes, engine and none of the interior extras. No 15 speaker Hardon Karmin (I have 9 speakers I believe) no nav, no 8" screen, no 7" screen in the dash display (mine is 3.5") no sun roof, no power tilt wheel.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
